This is a single cask Glenfarclas from the Family Casks series, distilled in 1990 and bottled on 9 June 2021. It matured in a sherry butt and was bottled at cask strength, 51.9%, in a 70cl bottle. The cask yielded 615 bottles.
The nose is intense and complex, with wax, leather, dates, red fruit, old books and dark chocolate. The palate is full and weighty, with a mass of dried fruit, coffee, chocolate and mixed spices. The finish is very long, with raisins, plums, coffee and leather.
