The whisky was distilled in 1990 and is described as one of the darkest of the Family casks, with a pronounced sherry character.
The Grant family has run Glenfarclas since 1860. The distillery's water is melt water from the slopes of Ben Rinnes, which runs through granite and heather before it reaches the site.
