A 30 year old single cask Glenfarclas, distilled in 1990 and bottled on 2 June 2020 from a sherry butt at 55.2%. Only 545 bottles were filled, each of 70cl.
It comes from The Family Casks, a series begun in 2007 that releases single casks at cask strength, with the aim of offering at least one bottling from every production year. Glenfarclas has belonged to the Grant family since 1865, and its whiskies are matured almost entirely in former Oloroso sherry casks.
