Glenfarclas – 1996 Edition 26 Rob Roy MacGregor (70cl, 46%)

This is a 1996 vintage Speyside single malt from Glenfarclas, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is the 26th edition of the Famous Scots series, which features the clan chief Rob Roy MacGregor, born in Scotland in 1671 and often called the Scottish Robin Hood. The edition comes in a new design, in a wooden box. The whisky was matured only in carefully chosen sherry casks, from the old warehouse of the family-owned Glenfarclas distillery, and shows the sherry aromas typical of the distillery.
