Glenfarclas – 2000 The Family Casks 23 Years Old Refill Sherry Hogshead 6226 (70cl, 52.2%)

This Glenfarclas was distilled in 2000 and bottled on 19 July 2023 after 23 years in a refill sherry hogshead. It is a single cask bottling from cask 6226, filled out at 52.2% ABV as 268 bottles of 70cl. It belongs to The Family Casks, a series Glenfarclas began in 2007 for single cask, cask strength bottlings. The aim is to release at least one whisky from every production year, and the range reaches back to 1952. Glenfarclas is a family-owned Speyside distillery at Ballindalloch, founded in 1836. The Grant family has owned it since 1865.
