Glenfarclas 2002 Single Vintage is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the 2002 vintage, bottled on 24 May 2016 at 46% ABV. It is one of 3000 bottles released, in a 70cl bottle with a presentation box.
The nose is built on juicy raisins, grape must, plums, black cherries and orange peel, with hints of ginger, fresh herbs and the oak spice typical of Glenfarclas. On the palate it is soft and round, with creamy honey, dried plums and raisins in dark chocolate, then sesame, liquorice, old leather, bitter almond and espresso.
The finish is oily and warming, with liquorice, slight bitterness and a lingering note of black cherries.
