Glenfarclas – 2004 Family Cask #2385 19 Year Old (70cl)

This is a single malt from Glenfarclas in Speyside, distilled in 2004 and bottled in 2024 after 19 years in a single European oak sherry barrel. It comes from the Family Cask Collection, with 653 bottles filled from the cask, in a wooden gift box with a small booklet on the history of Glenfarclas. The colour is deep gold with an amber glow. The nose offers dried fruits, roasted nuts and gentle oak spice. The palate is full-bodied, with honeyed nuts, raisins, toffee, orange peel and warming spice. The finish carries sweet malt, cocoa and delicate wood.
