This Glenfarclas comes from The Potstill Reserve series and was bottled in honour of the Potstill Festival 2022, the 18th edition. It was distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2022, at a cask strength of 55.7%, in a 70cl bottle. Only 331 bottles were filled.
The whisky was matured in sherry casks.
The nose offers fresh yeast, clove and oak. The palate shows clear sherry influence, with sweet raisins, vanilla, panettone, chocolate, oak and a touch of pepper. The finish is long, spicy and sharp, with hints of oak and dark chocolate.
