This Glenfarclas single malt from Speyside was distilled in 2009 and released in summer 2024 as a Family Cask. It is bottled at 61.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Glenfarclas dates from 1836, when Robert Hay founded it, and has been owned by the Grant family since John Grant bought it in 1865. The family continues to release single casks and special bottlings in addition to the standard expressions. The distillery works mainly with Oloroso sherry casks, which lend its whisky its distinctive aromas.
