A single cask Glenfarclas from the Family Casks series, a run of cask strength single cask bottlings that began in 2007. This is release A25, a 2010 vintage drawn from a sherry butt and bottled on 11 August 2025 at 15 years old and 59.2% ABV. The outturn is 647 bottles of 70cl.
The nose is an intense sherry with dark fruit, among them cherries, blackberries and raisins, along with cask spice and a sweetness of caramel and honey. The palate is full and sherried, with Amarena cherries, honey, almonds and caramel, and a little bittersweet chocolate. The finish is long and soft, with cherries, dark chocolate, oak spice and more honey and caramel.
