Glenfarclas – 2012 The Trinity Vintage Series (70cl, 46%)

Glenfarclas 2012 is a single malt from The Trinity Vintage Series, in a 70cl bottle at 46%. The series points to three elements behind the Glenfarclas flavour: casks, stills and warehouses. This first part concentrates on the casks, with full maturation in Oloroso sherry casks. It was distilled in 2012 and bottled on 13 August 2024. It is natural in colour and non-chill-filtered. The nose is fresh and fruity, with red apple, peach, spice and oak. The palate is soft, with sweet and spicy notes, dark fruit, oak and cocoa. The finish is medium in length, with hints of chocolate and wood.
