Glenfarclas 2014/2025 Sherry Cask - The Trinity Vintage Series II (70cl, 59.2%)

This is the second release in The Trinity Vintage Series, a three-part series from Glenfarclas that centres on the distillery's traditional dunnage warehouses. It follows a 2012 vintage and is a Speyside single malt distilled in 2014, matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled on 28 May 2025. It comes in a 70cl bottle at a natural cask strength of 59.2%, with no added colour and no chill-filtration. The nose opens with intense sherry, ripe fruit, raisins and dates, with honey and nuts, nutmeg and cinnamon. The palate is full, powerful and spicy, with dark chocolate, roasted almonds, orange, tobacco and sweet sherry. The finish is long, warming and spicy-dry, with dark fruit, leather and wood.
