Glenfarclas – 21 Years (70cl, 43%)

This is a 21 year old Glenfarclas single malt from Scotland, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery stands near the village of Marypark in Speyside, a mile from the River Spey. Its history reaches back to 1836, and the Grant family, J. & G. Grant, bought it in 1865. The sixth generation of the family is now involved. The whisky is matured in sherry casks, and the distillery's spring water and careful distillation are credited with giving it a balanced character.
