Glenfarclas – 25 Year Old (20cl, 43%)

Glenfarclas 25 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the distillery's Classic Range, in a 20cl bottle. It matured for 25 years in Oloroso sherry casks and is bottled at 43% without chill-filtration or added colour. Sherry and oak sit side by side without one covering the other, with honeyed, nutty and coffee notes running through it. The whisky matures in traditional dunnage warehouses. The nose combines marmalade and honey with freshly ground coffee, sherry and nuts, with fine oak tannins. The palate is full and strong. The finish is long, dry and malty, ending on dark chocolate.
