This is a single cask Glenfarclas, distilled in 1988 and bottled on 7 April 2015 after 27 years of maturation. It is bottled at 55.4% in a 70cl bottle.
Glenfarclas is a Speyside distillery that has been run by the Grant family since 1860. It is one of the few distilleries still working with direct-fired stills, and its water is melt water from the slopes of Ben Rinnes, which runs through granite and heather.
