Glenfarclas – 27 Year Old 1994 Family Casks Release S22

A 27 year old Speyside single malt from Glenfarclas, released as part of the Family Casks series in Summer 2022. It was distilled in 1994, matured in a single fourth fill butt and bottled by the distillery at natural cask strength in July 2022. The outturn was 297 bottles. Fourth fill wood leaves little cask influence, so the distillery's own character leads. Long ageing is described as bringing orchard fruits, honeyed malt and subtle oak.
