Glenfarclas 30 Year Old is a Speyside single malt matured for three decades exclusively in sherry casks. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle and presented in natural colour.
The nose is Christmas cake, dark raisins and dried figs with polished oak, Seville orange marmalade and dark chocolate, backed by roasted coffee, toasted walnuts, leather and cinnamon. On the palate, sherry-soaked fruit, dates and sultanas sit alongside treacle, cocoa, roasted almonds and toffee, with nutmeg, clove and orange peel. The finish is long and warming, with dark chocolate, dried fruit, sweet spice and seasoned oak.
