Glenfarclas – 30 Year Old Warehouse (70cl)

Glenfarclas 30 Year Old is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, supplied in a Warehouse box. Glenfarclas matures its whisky only in sherry casks that previously held oloroso or fino from Spain, typically 250-litre hogsheads or 500-litre butts, and the distillery has long worked with the same bodega. This bottling is described as having sherry, cognac, eau-de-vie, fruit, nuts and marzipan, in the manner of a Christmas cake. The finish carries roasted chocolate at the back of the palate.
