This is Glenfarclas 35 Year Old in its 2024 release, a Speyside single malt aged in Spanish oak sherry casks. It comes from the family-owned distillery, founded in 1836 and now in its fifth generation, where it matured in cool dunnage warehouses.
It is bottled at 43% ABV in natural colour. On the palate there are dried fruits, dark chocolate and spiced orange, with a smooth texture.
