A 35-year-old Speyside single malt from Glenfarclas, bottled in late 2022 at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the distillery's first non-vintage 35-year-old in the core range, and it appeared in early 2023.
It comes from a batch of 35-year-old sherry casks that distillery manager Callum Fraser found in the warehouse.
The nose is roasted almonds, dried dark fruits and creamy toffee. The palate offers sherried fruit, dark chocolate and raisins, and the finish lingers with cinnamon and cocoa powder.
