This is a 40 year old single malt from Glenfarclas, a sherried Speyside whisky bottled at 46%.
It is packaged simply, in line with the distillery's standard bottlings, and was intended for drinking rather than for keeping on display. It won a Gold Medal at the Malt Maniacs Awards in 2010.
