This is a 40-year-old Glenfarclas, a limited edition from the Speyside distillery at Ballindalloch. Glenfarclas was founded in 1836 by Robert Hay and has belonged to the Grant family since 1865.
The whisky was distilled in 1981, matured in sherry casks and bottled on 18 February 2021. The strength is 43%, and it is bottled in 70cl size.
