Glenfarclas 8 Year Old is a Speyside single malt bottled at 40% ABV. It is matured in Oloroso sherry casks, and the distillery has been owned by the Grant family since 1865.
The nose combines apple tart, almonds, cinnamon, honey and raisins. On the palate it is soft and full, with buttery notes, chocolate, nuts and a hint of fresh grass. The finish is long and delicate, with vanilla fudge, apple and raisins.
