Glenfarclas Aged 20 Years is a Highland single malt matured in a port pipe. It is bottled at 50.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle, from a release of 600 bottles.
The nose is rich, with dark Christmas cake, malt loaf, candied orange peel and sherried raisin, fig, cherry and plum, alongside wood spice, nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves. The palate is full-bodied and mouth-coating, with the same dark fruits, a touch of ginger and orange peel. The finish runs medium to long, with a savoury edge of walnut and tea before the dark fruit fades into warming spice.
