Glenfarclas – Celebrating Our 175th Anniversary

A Glenfarclas single malt released in a limited edition for the distillery's 175th anniversary. It brings together whisky from six decades: sherry-heavy casks from the 1950s and 1960s, lighter fruit from the 1970s and 1980s, freshness from the 1990s and the youngest whisky from 2000. The colour is amber heather honey. On the nose, toffee and vanilla grow stronger with time in the glass, alongside dark wood and old hazelnuts. On the palate, tart hazelnuts and creamy, slightly bitter wet leaves give way to sweet oranges, old apples, leather and a little smoke. The finish is long and fruity.
