It was bottled at 52% in a 70cl bottle, and only 161 bottles were filled. The wood has a strong influence on this whisky, with firm tannins running through it. The nose is rich and deep, with dark fruit such as fig, plum and blackberry, old leather, intense sherry, and light touches of cinnamon and redcurrant jelly. On the palate there is blackberry, mulled wine and candied red fruit, with a syrupy texture. The finish is long, dry and tannic, with leather, bitter orange and blackberry.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
