Glenfarclas Family Cask 1984-2011, Release VII, is a single malt matured in a hogshead, cask number 6030. It was distilled in 1984 and bottled on 26 May 2011 at 51% in a 70cl bottle. Its colour is pale, recalling a chardonnay.
The nose is soft and fruity, with notes of a tropical fruit cocktail. The palate is light and sweet, with more complexity than expected from a Glenfarclas. The finish is slightly dry and leaves a fresh feeling.
