Glenfarclas Family Cask 2008 is a single-cask Speyside single malt, distilled in 2008 and bottled in summer 2024 at a cask strength of 57.7% ABV.
It spent around 16 years in a refill sherry-type cask. The Family Cask series, which began in 2007, bottles one selected cask for each vintage.
The nose is described as caramel, pear drops, honey-glazed apples and dried fruit. On the palate come prunes, raisins, cloves and ginger, followed by a finish of caramel, coffee and marzipan.
