This is an 8 year old Speyside single malt from the Glenfarclas distillery, bottled in the 1970s and sold as an unblended all malt. It was aged in sherry casks and bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The 1970s were a busy decade at Glenfarclas. The distillery released a cask-strength bottling in 1968, stopped its floor maltings in 1972, welcomed visitors from 1973 and added two stills in 1976.
