Glenfarclas – The Family Casks 1994 (Cask No 4337) (70cl, 50.5%)

Glenfarclas The Family Casks 1994 is a single cask Speyside single malt, distilled in 1994 and bottled on 28 May 2020 from cask 4337. The whisky was matured in a refill sherry butt and bottled at its natural cask strength of 50.5%, in natural colour. In total, 562 bottles were produced. On the nose there are dried fruits, sherry-soaked raisins and soft oak, with apricot, toffee, roasted nuts, cocoa, leather and gentle spice. The palate is full-bodied, with caramelised nuts, fruit cake, honeyed malt, dark chocolate, tobacco leaf and cracked pepper. The finish is long and warming, with dried fruits, oak spice, chocolate and citrus peel.
