This is the 26th edition in the Famous Scots series from Glenfarclas, which features the Scottish clan chief Rob Roy MacGregor, born in 1671. It is a 1996 vintage single malt, bottled in 2024.
The whisky matured exclusively in selected sherry casks from the distillery's old warehouse. This edition comes in a new design, in a wooden box.
It is described as having the typical Glenfarclas sherry aromas and pronounced fruit, with a sweet demerara note in the finish.
