The Heilanman is a 45 year old Glenfarclas bottled for the 175th anniversary of Cadenheads. Only 75 bottles were produced, and the whisky is golden in colour.
The nose combines honey, figs and waxes, comparable to Glenfarclas bottlings of the 1970s. On the palate it is oaky at first, then waxy fruit comes forward with honeydew, fruity chardonnay and a touch of sour apple. The finish is medium, with honeyed dates.
