This is Glenfiddich 12 Year Old, a Speyside single malt in a bottling from around 2014, with a strength of 40% ABV.
It pours a gold colour. The nose is light and gentle, with apple juice, compote, a little honey, a touch of Earl Grey tea, sweet hay and the distillery's pear liqueur character.
The palate is creamy and malty, with honey and maple syrup, then a half grassy, half citrus profile of orange zest and green tea. The finish is long, leaning towards ripe apples and some tea.
