This is the 2024 Limited Design edition of Glenfiddich 12 Year Old, a Speyside single malt bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It comes in a tube designed by Raku Inoue, with a nature-inspired motif from the series A Gift of Blossoming Futures.
The whisky is matured in American bourbon and Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, then rests in wooden marrying tuns before bottling.
The nose is fresh and fruity, with pear and floral notes, honey, a little citrus and fresh malt. The palate is soft and creamy, with butterscotch, vanilla, a subtle sherry note and gentle oak. The finish is long, sweet and fruity, lightly oily, with vanilla and dry oak.
