Glenfiddich Our Original Twelve is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky aged for 12 years in American oak and European oak sherry casks, bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It won a Gold Medal at the 2007 International Wine and Spirit Competition.
The distillery credits its fruitiness to a high cut point and its freshness to Highland spring water.
The nose is slightly floral and mineral, with orchard fruit, malt and honey, and citrus that comes through later. The palate is light, floral and spiced, and very smooth. The finish is sweet and oily, with a touch of oak and fruit.
