Glenfiddich 12 Year Old Triple Oak Twelve is a Speyside single malt created by malt master Brian Kinsman for the French market. Whisky matured for twelve years in American oak and European sherry casks is married with single malt from new French oak casks, so the woods work together rather than as three successive cask changes. The French oak adds spicy and vanilla notes to the fruity Glenfiddich style, along with roasted almonds and lingering ginger. It is bottled at 40%. On the nose, fresh pear and citrus meet sweet, creamy vanilla. The palate is soft and creamy, with fruit, gentle spice, clear wood, roasted almonds and the sweetness of crème brûlée. The finish is long, very soft, fruity and distinctly spicy.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
