Glenfiddich 14 Year Old Bourbon Barrel Reserve is a permanent release from the Glenfiddich distillery in Speyside. The whisky is matured for 14 years in ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in new charred American virgin oak casks supplied by The Kelvin Cooperage in Louisville, Kentucky.
It is naturally coloured and bottled at 43%.
The nose is vibrant vanilla with hints of citrus, caramelised brown sugar, cinnamon, baked apple and ripe summer fruits, balanced by rich oak. The palate is rich and sweet, with creamy toffee, woody spices, candied orange peel and toasted oak. The finish is long, with lingering sweetness.
