Glenfiddich 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in European oak sherry casks, American oak bourbon casks and new oak, then combined in a Solera vat at the distillery.
The vat is never emptied, so each new batch mingles with older whisky already inside it.
The nose offers heather honey, golden raisin and baked pear with vanilla and candied orange. The palate brings honeyed malt, toffee, dark fruit and roasted nuts. The finish is long, with gentle oak spice, lingering sweetness and a dry note.
