Glenfiddich – 15 Year Old Solera Fifteen (70cl, 40%)

A 15 year old Speyside single malt from Glenfiddich, bottled by the distillery at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is drawn from the distillery's solera, a very large old oak vat that is regularly refilled with 15 year old Glenfiddich and always kept at least half full. The whisky going into the vat has matured in ex-bourbon, sherry and virgin oak casks. It is described as round and mellow, with a sweet, fruity Speyside character.
