Glenfiddich – 15 Years (70cl, 40%)

This is Glenfiddich 15 Years, a single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It matures in three types of cask: European sherry, bourbon and new American oak. The whisky is then brought together in a solera vat, a method Glenfiddich has used since 1998. The distillery was built by hand, stone by stone, in the space of a year after the summer of 1886, with the help of the founder's seven sons and two daughters. The name comes from the Gaelic for valley of the deer, and Glenfiddich remains fully family owned.
