This is a 15-year-old single malt from Glenfiddich, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle in a limited edition design. It is made by marrying whisky matured in bourbon, new oak and sherry casks in the distillery's Solera vat.
The nose combines sherry, citrus (orange in particular) and dry wood, with a light smoky touch. The palate is of medium intensity, with sherry, raisins, fruit cake, spice and sweetness. The finish brings candied fruit, raisins, spice and Christmas pudding, with oak prominent throughout.
