Glenfiddich – 15 Years Perpetual Collection Vat 03 (70cl, 50.2%)

This is a 15 year old Speyside single malt from Glenfiddich, bottled at 50.2% in a 70cl bottle as Vat 03 of the Perpetual Collection. The collection draws on vats that are never emptied, following a solera system. The whisky in Vat 03 matured in American oak, virgin American oak and European sherry casks. The nose brings heather honey, vanilla sweets and dark fruit. On the palate it is silky, with sherry, marzipan, cinnamon and ginger, and the finish is medium in length with a sweet touch.
