A cask strength Glenfiddich distilled in 1982, taken from the distillery's own Private Vintage series. This is Single Cask 3672, bottled at 58.7% in a 70cl bottle as an exclusive for the Craigellachie Hotel in Speyside. The nose is floral, with marzipan sweetness and delicate oak. On the palate, peppery spice and oak arrive first, followed by a creamy maltiness that develops into light, elegant fruit. The finish is warm and lingering, with mellow, fruity spice.
