This is a 21 year old Glenfiddich, a Speyside single malt finished in Caribbean rum casks. It was distilled in 1987 and bottled in 2008 at 40%, as Cask Selection 23.
The rum finish brings sweet molasses and oak alongside the toffee, vanilla, exotic fruit and warming spice of the malt.
The finish is smooth, elegant and lingering.
