Glenfiddich 21 Year Old Gran Reserva is a single malt matured for 21 years in oak casks, then finished for up to four months in Caribbean rum reserves.
The nose is sweet and floral, with vanilla, ripe banana, fig, dark toffee, new leather and polished oak. The palate starts soft before turning slightly drying, with pepper, dark chocolate, ginger, lime zest and a little wood smoke over a malty base. The finish is very long and warming, with dry oak, spice and sweet marmalade.
