Glenfiddich 22 Year Old Gran Cortes is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 44.3% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the distillery's Grand Series and is finished in Spanish Palo Cortado sherry casks.
The nose brings dates, dark chocolate and raisins, with figs, orange zest and light spice. On the palate there are sweet oak, vanilla and marzipan, layered with stewed plums and dates, dark caramel and toasted nuts.
The finish is long and warming, with dark chocolate, spiced oak and dried fruit, and a sweet, slightly smoky aftertaste.
