A 29 year old Glenfiddich that finished its maturation in former awamori casks. Awamori is a rice spirit made in the Okinawa islands of Japan. The name, Grand Yozakura, refers to Japanese evenings when cherry blossom is lit by moonlight.
The aromas described are ripe fruit, caramelised almonds, spice, ginger, vanilla and oak, which build and blend into one another.
