Glenfiddich 30 Year Old 'Suspended Time' is a Speyside single malt matured for thirty years in American oak and European sherry casks. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The sherry casks bring dried fruit and spice, while the American oak adds creamy vanilla and gentle sweetness. The distillery's orchard-fruit character runs through it.
The nose offers dried fig, raisin and stewed plum with dark chocolate, polished oak, nutmeg and a little orange peel. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, with sherried fruits, honeyed malt, toasted almond, cinnamon and vanilla. The finish is long and warming, with clove, cocoa and drying oak.
