Glenfiddich 40 Year Old Time Re:Imagined – Cumulative Time (70cl, 44.6%)

This is a 40-year-old Glenfiddich from the Time Re:Imagined collection, the Cumulative Time edition. It is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 44.6% in natural colour in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is made by remnant vatting: part of earlier 40-year-old batches is kept back and married with newly chosen casks. The bottle comes in a white, marble-style presentation. The nose combines dark cherries and dried dates with roasted coffee, leather, clove and a very fine smoke. On the palate come raisins, ripe plums, dark chocolate and firm oak. The finish is exceptionally long, with dried fruit, coffee and cherry.
