Project XX is the second release in Glenfiddich's Experimental Series, the range the Dufftown distillery launched in 2016 after the IPA edition. The name is pronounced "Twenty".
It is a blend of 20 whiskies matured in ex-bourbon, sherry and port casks, bottled at 47% without chill filtering in a 70cl bottle. This bottle was introduced in 2023, when the brand changed its visual identity.
The result is described as deep and indulgent.
